What exactly do I get?+
Full access to every feature: match strength engine, AP practice tests, Debt Payback Score (for schools with program-level earnings data), Reality Check dashboard with crime stats and admin spending data, Financial Reality suite with 4-year cost projections and debt payback timelines, Path Explorer with trade and community college alternatives, and school comparison engine. Everything included with your one-time license. (We may modify, deprecate, or replace features over time as the public data sources we depend on change — see Terms § 16.)
Is this a subscription?+
No. One payment, no auto-renewal, no monthly charge. We don't believe in subscriptions for a tool you need for 1–4 years. Pay once and use it through your student's college planning.
What age should my student start?+
As early as 9th grade. The earlier your student starts, the more time they have to improve match strength, take the right AP courses, and shake out bad-fit schools before they waste anyone’s time. Same price regardless of when you buy.
Can I use this for multiple students?+
One license per student. Each student gets their own profile, their own match engine, their own AP test history. If you have two students going through college planning, you'll need two licenses. Still cheaper than one hour with a private college counselor.
What is Founding Members pricing?+
For all of calendar 2026, parents who join lock in $249 per student instead of the regular $399. After December 31, 2026, the price for new customers returns to $399. The reason: most families applying to college this fall (rising seniors, the Class of 2027) need the data now, and we want them inside the product, using it and telling us what to fix, before we open more broadly. If you buy in 2026, you keep $249 pricing on additional students you add later under the same parent account, even after the Founding Members window closes.
Is the data real?+
Yes. Every number comes from public federal sources: IPEDS, College Scorecard, Clery Act crime reports, Bureau of Labor Statistics. We surface it in the format you actually need to make a decision.
